Upstream Data Acquisition Operator
Our client has a requirement for Data Acquisition Operators for work in Saudi Arabia. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the oil and gas industry.
Candidates must have experience of working in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities of the Data Acquisition Operator:
- Operate and maintain data acquisition systems and equipment.
- Monitor and ensure accurate data collection from sensors, instruments, and other sources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Ensure data integrity and proper calibration of sensors and instruments.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to interpret data and generate reports.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of data acquisition hardware and software.
- Document and report any technical issues, operational inconsistencies, or anomalies in the data.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Data Acquisitions Officer, or in a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and sensors.
- Familiar with data processing software and tools.
- Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data collection.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additional Information:
- This will be a log term position, with a duration of up to 2 years.
- Day rates will be between $60 and $100 depending on experience.
- Rotations will be 12 weeks on and 4 weeks off.
