Our global client is currently seeking experienced Drilling Consultants to oversee and optimize drilling operations for oil and gas projects in the UAE. The role involves providing technical expertise, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with HSE standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive offshore and/or onshore drilling experience and a strong background in well engineering and rig operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership for drilling programs, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee and coordinate drilling operations, including well planning, execution, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Optimize drilling performance by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommending improvements.
- Work closely with drilling engineers, rig supervisors, and field teams to achieve operational goals.
- Evaluate and implement best practices, technologies, and innovations to enhance drilling operations.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of drilling equipment and services.
- Prepare detailed reports on drilling progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Assist in well control procedures and emergency response planning.
