Role
We are seeking an experienced Drilling Engineer to support a long-term drilling campaign in Nigeria. The role will focus on well planning, drilling operations support, BHA design and drilling optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Well planning and drilling programme development.
- Drilling operations and engineering support.
- BHA design and drilling optimisation.
- Anti-collision planning and monitoring.
- Analysis of drilling performance and recommendations for improvement.
- Coordination with drilling, directional drilling and service company teams.
Experience Required
- Strong Drilling Engineering experience.
- Experience in shallow water, deepwater and/or land drilling.
- Experience with DD/MLWD tools preferred.
- Previous directional drilling experience advantageous.
- Experience with anti-collision planning and monitoring.
- Relevant drilling engineering training preferred.
Required Certifications / Software
- DE1 and DE2
- Anti-Collision Certification
- Experience with DOX, DrillPlan, PTK and Techlog preferred.
- Valid Medical
- Yellow Fever
