Electronics Technicians are required for permanent employment with leading Global Service Company based Australia. The job sites are flying all around Australia from any major city. Largest operations are in Roma, QLD, Jandakot, WA or Moomba, SA but can also fly to Dampier, Broome, Dongara or offshore. Responsibilities include:
- Fault diagnosing using schematics, test equipment and diagnostic software
- Maintenance/Repair of pressure and mass flow measuring devices
- Maintains a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware
- Electronics cabling and component level PCB repairs
- Light fabrication work and accurate SAP data entry
Roster: FIFO Even Time Roster – (Generally 3 weeks on 3 weeks off but can change to 2 weeks on 2 weeks off over Summer to reduce the chances of a fatigue related incident). Working Days are generally based on a 12-hour day. Many of our operations are inland or in Northern part of Australia, so you can expect hot days in summer working in 45+ degree heat.
- Previous Energy industry experience (Highly desirable)
- Experience in an electronic maintenance environment
- Relevant qualification in Electronics/Electrotechnology
- Knowledge of computer networking and serial communications
- Lateral thinking skills with ability to problem solve
- Adaptable self-starter that can work autonomously or in a team
- Exemplary interpersonal communication skills
- Restricted Electrical licence or above (Desirable)
Initial 3 – 6 months trial then permanent position offered for right candidate.
Excellent Day Rate during Trial
Annual salary for permanent position including bonus circa 140-150K.
Would consider 400 Visa sponsorship with view for employee sponsorship if relocation
