Field Operator with 5+ years Completions experience is required for a project in Gabon.

Job Summary
The Field Operator will be responsible for executing well completion operations safely and efficiently in line with the client’s programs and international oilfield best practices. The role involves working closely with the drilling, completions, and production teams to ensure the safe installation of downhole completion equipment, testing tools, and associated surface equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of completion operations (including lower and upper completions, sand control, packers, plugs, safety valves, and related tools).
- Operate and maintain completion and well intervention equipment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure wellsite operations follow safety procedures and report any non-conformances or incidents.
- Support tool preparation, redressing, and maintenance of completion equipment both onshore and offshore.
- Work with service providers to ensure timely delivery and QA/QC of tools and materials.
- Record and report daily operations, equipment usage, and job performance data.
- Provide technical input to optimize well performance and reduce operational risks.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and job hazard analysis (JHA).
- Ensure adherence to local Gabonese regulations and company HSSE policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of [5+] years’ experience in well completions operations, preferably offshore.
- Proven experience with completion tools such as packers, plugs, safety valves, liner hangers, and sand control equipment.
- Strong understanding of completion fluids, pressure control equipment, and well integrity requirements.
- Valid offshore survival and medical certificates (e.g., BOSIET/OGUK or equivalent).
- Good written and spoken English; French is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Gabonese oilfield regulations is desirable.
