Upstream Geothermal Well Testing Team Personnel
Looking for your next challenge? Our client has requirements for Supervisors and Engineers to join their Geothermal Well Testing Team for work in Saudi Arabia.
The duration of this work will be approx. 70 days (Q2 and Q3 of 2024).
Responsibilities of the Engineer and Supervisor:
- Execute geothermal well testing activities in accordance with project objectives and industry best practices.
- Oversee the deployment of downhole tools and instruments for accurate data collections.
- Lead a team of geothermal well testers and engineers, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Foster a culture of safety and adherence to environmental and regulatory standards.
- Analyse well testing data to evaluate reservoir performance and provide insights for reservoir management decisions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarising key findings and recommendations.
- Work closely with other project team members, including reservoir engineers, geologists, and project managers.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices for geothermal well testing.
Requirements:
Supervisor:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in geothermal well testing.
- Demonstratable expertise in supervising geothermal well testing operations.
- In-depth knowledge of geothermal reservoirs, well testing methodologies, and reservoir management.
- Proven ability to lead a team, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with on-site teams, engineers, and project stakeholders.
Engineers:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in geothermal well testing.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting and analysing geothermal well tests.
- Proficient in using well testing equipment, data analysis tools, and reservoir modeling software.
- Familiar with downhole logging tools and other relevant technologies.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the success of the overall geothermal project.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.
