Hydrogen Integration Technician

Integrity, Assurance and Reliability (IAR) are key services provided by our client. They are looking for a Hydrogen Integration Technician for work in the Netherlands.
The role of the Hydrogen Integration Technician is to provide an accurate, timely, efficient and effective inspection, repair, installation and commissioning service to the customer at their onsite or offshore facilities.

Responsibilities of the Hydrogen Integration Technician:

  • Conduct on-site inspections of Small Bore Tubing (SBT), Flexible Hose Assemblies (FHA), and fittings, adhering to company procedures.
  • Assess and recommend changes to enhance the suitability of FHA, SBT and Hydraulic Systems.
  • Record and register details accurately, applying identification tags as per procedures.
  • Input service results into the HIMS database and submit reports on unsatisfactory systems.
  • Develop 'bill of materials' for replacements and perform assembly, fitting, flushing, and testing of SBT systems onshore and offshore.
  • Act as a focal point during site services, leading and mentoring surveyors.
  • Liaise with onshore Project Engineering personnel as needed.

  • Ensure work aligns with the company's quality procedures and customer specifications.
  • Execute activities in line with the company's HSE management system and customer site rules.
  • Participate in safety and quality audits, promoting safe working practices.
  • Maintain hazard-free work areas, assess risks, and complete risk assessments.
Continuous Improvement / Personal Development:
  • Foster effective relationships with the operations team and other departments.
  • Support organisational targets and achieve personal objectives.

Experience:

  • Previous experience at maintaining, repairing, installation, and commissioning Hydraulic systems.
  • Installation of instrumentation / SBT systems.
  • Working within a service industry with a keen focus on, and compliance with, QHSE policies.
  • Previous experience of working within an environment that requires strict adherence to processes and procedures,
  • Previous experience of working offshore.

Qualification:

  • OPTIO/ECITB FHA/SBT Surveyor.
  • ECITB SBT Manufacturer/Installer.
  • ECITB SBT Pressure Tester.
  • Hydraulic System Contamination Management qualification.
  • IRATA Rope Access Level 1.
  • BFPA Stage 1 and 2 Hydraulics, Pump and Pump Control and Troubleshooting.
