Job Title: Offshore Machinists
Location: Offshore (Ad Hoc Assignments)
Duration: Up to 3 Weeks per Trip (Shutdown Support)
We are currently seeking experienced Offshore Machinists to support upcoming shutdown operations on a rotational, ad hoc basis. The ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience with critical flange and connector machining, as well as TMGI certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform flange facing/filing on raised face and RTJ (ring type joint) flanges
- Work with Clamp Hub Connectors
- Conduct end prep deconstruction
- Execute pipe cutting, milling, and drilling tasks (desirable)
- Ensure adherence to technical and safety standards in offshore environments
- Work collaboratively with offshore teams to support time-sensitive shutdown schedules
- Maintain, set up, and operate machining tools safely and efficiently
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a machinist in oil & gas or heavy industry
- Strong experience with flange filing, including RTJ flange and raised face types
- Proven competence with Clamp Hub connector work
- TMGI Modules 10, 11, 18, 19, and 20 — ideally all five (valid certification preferred)
- Experience in pipe cutting, milling, and drilling would be beneficial
Mandatory Certifications:
- Valid BOSIET / HUET certification
- OGUK Medical certificate
