Upstream - Prepare the MDT equipment at the SLB base — check tools, electronics, pressure gauges, sample chambers and other components before mobilising to the rig.
- Plan the job with the customer and wellsite team — understand the formation intervals to be tested, required pressures/samples, depth targets and testing programme.
- Run the MDT downhole on wireline and position the tool at the required formation depth.
