This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess skills in Measurement While Drilling (MWD), Logging While Drilling (LWD), or Directional Drilling (DDX).
Responsibilities of the Measurement and Drilling Specialists:
- Utilise MWD, LLD, or DDX tools to provide accurate real-time data during drilling operations.
- Collaborate with drilling teams to optimise drilling performance and achieve project objectives.
- Monitor drilling parameters and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
- Maintain documentation of drilling activities and data analysis.
- Comply with safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in MWD, LWD, or DDX is preferred.
- Familiarity with drilling software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and work in various locations as required.
