We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to support the maintenance, repair and servicing of cementing equipment for an oilfield services operation in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate must have previous experience working within an oilfield company maintenance department, with specific hands-on experience maintaining cementing equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on cementing equipment and associated systems.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and service mechanical, hydraulic and electronic equipment.
  • Maintain and repair CAT, Deutz and Detroit engines, Allison transmissions, and SERVA and Gardner Denver Triplex pumps.
  • Diagnose and maintain hydraulic systems, sensors and data acquisition systems.
  • Carry out equipment inspections, testing and preventative maintenance.
  • Support equipment mobilisation and preparation for field operations.
  • Attend field locations, both onshore and offshore, when required to troubleshoot or repair equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

  • Essential: Previous experience working in an oilfield company maintenance department.
  • Essential: Proven hands-on experience maintaining oilfield cementing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with CAT, Deutz or Detroit engines.
  • Experience with Allison transmissions.
  • Experience with SERVA and/or Gardner Denver Triplex pumps.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic systems, electronics, sensors and data acquisition systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a field-based team.
  • Willingness to work onshore and offshore and travel to field locations when required.
  • Strong commitment to HSE and safe working practices.
  • Visa: The visa process will need to be initiated as soon as possible for the successful candidate.

    Contract: 4–12 months, with the possibility of extension depending on operational requirements.
