Upstream MPD Supervisor – Angola
On behalf of our client in Angola, we are currently seeking an experienced MPD Supervisor to join their drilling operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) to contribute to a high-profile project in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working as an MPD Supervisor on offshore and/or onshore drilling operations.
- Strong knowledge of MPD systems, equipment, procedures, and well control principles.
- PMCD (Pressurized Mud Cap Drilling) experience is highly preferred.
- Valid Well Control certification and relevant industry qualifications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews, manage operational risks, and ensure safe and efficient execution of drilling activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all MPD activities on site.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, company procedures, and HSE standards.
- Monitor operational performance and provide technical support to optimize drilling efficiency.
- Maintain accurate reporting and liaise effectively with the drilling team and client representatives.
