Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off

Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available
We are currently recruiting experienced Mud Engineers / Drilling Fluids Engineers to support long-term operations in Nigeria.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drilling fluids professionals looking for stable, long-term rotational work on a 28/28 schedule, with both day and night shift positions available.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain drilling fluid systems throughout drilling operations
- Monitor and optimise mud properties in line with operational requirements
- Perform regular testing, treatment and reporting of drilling fluids
- Troubleshoot drilling fluid issues and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor chemical consumption and maintain accurate inventory records
- Work closely with drilling and wellsite teams to support safe and efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and operational standards
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mud Engineer / Drilling Fluids Engineer
- Strong knowledge of drilling fluids, mud systems and associated chemicals
- Previous oil & gas drilling experience
- Strong understanding of wellsite operations and HSE requirements
- Able to work effectively on both day and night shifts
- Available for a 28 days on / 28 days off rotation
- Must have the right to work in Nigeria due to visa/work permit requirements
