NDT Quality Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Quality Inspector to join our clients team in Germany.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our clients products through the application of NDT techniques. As an NDT Quality Inspector, you will work closely with our production and engineering teams to uphold industry standards, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the NDT Quality Inspector:

Conduct NDT Inspections:
  • Perform various NDT inspections, including but not limited to ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), radiographic testing (RT), and visual testing (VT).
  • Interpret and evaluate results of NDT inspections to determine the presence of defects, discontinuities, or other deviations from quality standards.
Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure adherence to industry codes, standards, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, including documentation of inspection procedures, techniques, and equipment calibration.
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to provide feedback on inspection findings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Equipment Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.
Training and Development:
  • Stay current with advancements in NDT technology, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues involved in or impacted by NDT processes.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in NDT methods (e.g., ASNT Level II or III) is required.
  • PAUT – Phased Array Ultrasonic testing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in Tomo-view
Experience:
  • Proven experience as an NDT Quality Inspector in a relevant industry.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific codes and standards.
  • Reliable knowledge in A-scan and B-scan.
  • Familiar with composite material in blades or aerospace is an advantage.
Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using NDT equipment and interpretation of inspection results.
  • Good knowledge of English and German Language speaking.
Certifications:
  • ASNT Level II or III certification in relevant NDT methods.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., API, AWS) are a plus.
