Upstream Reservoir Engineer
Our client is seeking a Reservoir Engineer for work in Bahrain.
Responsibilities of the Reservoir Engineer:
- Complete advanced gas reservoir engineering.
- Oil and gas resource and reserves definitions, classifications and estimation.
- Reservoir surveillance and production optimisation.
- Fluid flow and subsurface characterisation.
- Conduct well performance prediction and horizontal well performance.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related.
- 15+ years of international experience, preferably with Middle East in gas reservoir development or similar roles.
- Strong experience in gas reservoirs, both carbonates and classics.
- Proficient in gas production systems modeling applications and concepts.
- Experience with gas processing facilities, production optimisation, and analytical techniques.
- Working knowledge of technical software including OFM, Saphir, RTA and analytical tools.
Additional Information:
- This work will be onsite, and duration will be 6-12 months based on performance.
- Expected start date is December 1st.
