Wind Security Engineer
Our client, operating in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a Security Engineer to work in Rhode Island, United States on a 1-year contract.
Within this role, the individual will be working on American projects, overseeing construction and adherence to the requirements imposed by the OT Security legislation.
Responsibilities of the Security Engineer:
- Ensure compliance with the local requirements.
- Work across a range of packages to hep ensure compliance.
- Be responsible for the delivery of the client’s internal IT services.
- Perform technical documentation review and OT Security Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
Requirements:
- Practical experience with NERC-CIP, IEC 62443, and possibly ISO 27k series of standards.
- Experience with security testing in LV and SCADA/OT Control systems and Communication/IT systems.
- Good at collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with network concepts and technologies in particular segmentation.
Additional Information:
- A large part of this role is compliance with NECR-CIP, combined with internal requirements for building assets based on IEC 62443.
- The combination of these two standards will ensure a high level of cybersecurity for the assets.
