Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of drilling operations in collaboration with the asset development team.

Prepare, review, and deliver comprehensive drilling programs and related documentation.

Conduct detailed technical and operational risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.

Oversee contractor performance, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Report regularly to senior stakeholders on project status, risks, and performance metrics.
Key Requirements:
-
Minimum 15 years of experience in drilling engineering or drilling project management, with a strong track record in upstream oil and gas.

Proven experience working in remote or international environments, preferably in Africa.

Strong technical expertise in well planning, drilling operations, and risk management.

Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.

Ability to work independently while integrating effectively with client teams.
-
Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus.
