Job Title: Senior Reservoir Management and Production Engineering Consultant
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic consultant to join our team and support our customers’ reservoir management and production engineering teams in achieving production targets. This role will focus on providing technical expertise across a range of domains, including well and reservoir management, intervention planning, and technology deployment. The ideal candidate will be a senior technical authority with the ability to drive results, provide strategic advice, and lead critical initiatives in subsurface operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert petroleum engineering advice to optimize well and reservoir performance.
- Lead Value Assurance Reviews (VAR) for subsurface and technology deployment projects, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with production goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Drilling department to integrate well functional requirements, completion designs, and well integrity considerations into the overall field development plan.
- Act as a senior technical authority within the field development, well and reservoir management (WRM), and well delivery portfolios.
- Support well and reservoir management efforts to maximize recovery, improve operational efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct technical reviews and propose interventions for Surface Injection (SI) wells to enhance production.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and staff, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
- Drive the implementation of best practices and the integration of innovative technology to achieve production targets and optimize field operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in reservoir management, production engineering, and subsurface project execution.
- Strong expertise in well intervention planning, reservoir optimization, and value assurance reviews (VAR).
- In-depth understanding of field development, well integrity, and completion designs.
- Ability to act as a senior technical authority and effectively manage complex technical challenges.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Hands-on experience in production engineering with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to mentor and build the capabilities of junior staff.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience working with global teams on large-scale reservoir management and production optimization projects.
