Our Global Client is currently seeking an experienced Slickline Supervisor to oversee slickline operations for our client in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in slickline services within the oil and gas industry, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Slickline Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing slickline operations, supervising field personnel, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all slickline activities at the wellsite, ensuring operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of slickline operators and junior operators, providing direction, training, and technical support.
- Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and preparation of slickline equipment and tools, including troubleshooting and resolving any mechanical issues on-site.
- Oversee the execution of slickline operations such as well logging, tool setting and retrieval, perforating, and other well intervention tasks.
- Conduct pre-job planning and post-job evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and maintain safety standards, ensuring that all personnel follow company safety protocols, industry regulations, and emergency response procedures.
- Prepare and submit accurate job reports, including details on wellsite activities, equipment performance, downtime, and any incidents or issues encountered during operations.
- Liaise with clients, wellsite engineers, and other operational teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination of activities.
- Maintain a focus on cost-effective operations without compromising safety, quality, or service standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and leadership abilities.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma
- Computer Skills (Excel, Word)
- Language: Arabic, English
- 5 years of experience as a Slickline Supervisor
- 10 years of experience in Slickline operations
