Upstream Our Client is currently seeking experienced Slickline Supervisors for onshore and offshore work in Qatar. The role ensures all operations are conducted in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and Qatar’s oil and gas industry standards while maintaining the highest levels of health, safety, environmental, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all slickline operations onshore and offshore, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Plan, organize, and execute slickline interventions in accordance with approved operating procedures and client programs.
- Lead and mentor slickline operators and assistants, ensuring competency and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct pre-job planning meetings, toolbox talks, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk assessments before commencing operations.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, client safety requirements, and QatarEnergy regulations where applicable.
- Verify that all slickline equipment is inspected, tested, maintained, and certified before deployment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical guidance during well intervention activities.
- Maintain accurate operational reports, service tickets, equipment records, and end-of-job documentation.
- Coordinate logistics, equipment mobilisation, and personnel requirements for assigned operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, drilling and production teams, and company management.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or improvements to maximise operational reliability.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of pressure control equipment and associated tools.
- Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions when required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of operational excellence.
