Upstream Position: Specialist Geophysicist
Location: Qatar – Onshore
Duration: 18 months
Expected Start: November/December 2026

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Geophysicist to support onshore operations and technical projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will provide geophysical expertise, interpretation and technical support across a range of subsurface activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform geophysical interpretation and analysis to support subsurface evaluations and field development activities.
- Integrate seismic and well data to develop robust geological and geophysical interpretations.
- Conduct seismic interpretation, mapping and quality control of geophysical data.
- Provide technical input into geophysical studies, workflows and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers and other subsurface disciplines.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations and recommendations for project stakeholders.
- Ensure work is completed to appropriate technical, quality and HSE standards.
