Our Global client has requirements for a UK based Subsea Field Specialist to work onshore/ offshore on new project.
Responsibilities:
Efficient Wellhead & Hydraulic Operations – operate valves, land wellheads, and handle tasks like circulating fluids, cutting tubing, and setting plugs to safely shut down wells.
Rig Connections & Surface Operations – Seamlessly connect to the rig and manage water systems for plugging and abandoning wells, using lightweight equipment while keeping everything secure.
Reliable Wellhead Maintenance & Safety – Ensure the longevity of older wells by checking for wear and safely reconnecting to prevent further damage.
Requirements:
Proven expertise in Subsea operations, with a strong background in deep-water or open-water environments. Demonstrated ability to tackle the most complex challenges and deliver exceptional results in high-pressure, technically demanding conditions.
Hydraulic and ball valve experience is advantageous
Mechanical background and understanding of mechanical system are preferable
Open-water experience is a strong desirable trait to have but not essential
