We are seeking experienced Subsea Operators to support offshore oil and gas operations in the Black Sea, Romania. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe operation, monitoring, and maintenance of subsea systems and equipment, ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with operational procedures and strict offshore safety standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of subsea systems and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic offshore environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor subsea production systems, including control systems and associated equipment.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of subsea equipment and infrastructure.
  • Support subsea intervention activities, including ROV-assisted operations.
  • Conduct routine checks and diagnostics on subsea control systems and report anomalies.
  • Ensure all subsea operations are performed in accordance with company HSE policies and offshore regulations.
  • Assist in pre-job planning, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting subsea control and hydraulic issues.
  • Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and maintenance records.
  • Work closely with offshore installation teams, engineers, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Participate in emergency response procedures when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience working in offshore subsea operations within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of subsea production systems, umbilicals, control systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience working in offshore environments with exposure to installation, maintenance, or intervention operations.
  • Familiarity with ROV operations and subsea inspection activities.
  • Strong awareness of offshore safety systems, permit-to-work procedures, and isolation standards.
  • Ability to work in harsh offshore environments and rotational schedules.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within multicultural teams.
