Upstream Our client has requirements for Surface Well Testing Supervisors to work onshore in The United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise well testing activities on-site.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Monitor and operate well testing equipment and processes.
- Collect, validate, and report well test data.
- Coordinate personnel, equipment, and logistics.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Maintain equipment integrity and operational readiness.
Technical Knowledge
- Well testing equipment (separators, burners, choke manifolds, gauges, data acquisition systems).
- Pressure and temperature measurement techniques.
- Well control principles and operational procedures.
- Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Safety Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and permit-to-work systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise well testing crews and contractors.
- Ensure equipment is correctly installed, operated, and maintained.
- Monitor testing parameters and data quality.
- Coordinate with drilling, completion, and production teams.
- Prepare operational reports and testing summaries.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
