The Equipment Readiness Operator is responsible for preparing, inspecting, and supporting the maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment to ensure it is safe, certified, and ready for field operations.
Working under the guidance of Equipment Readiness Technicians or Supervisors, this role focuses on hands-on preparation, basic maintenance tasks, and accurate documentation to support Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) processes.
The Equipment Readiness Technician ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment is properly prepared, maintained, and certified for safe and reliable field deployment.
This role supports Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) by performing inspections, servicing, and documentation of equipment readiness, helping to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
The technician works closely with workshop supervisors, field operations teams, and quality/HSE departments.
Hands-on mechanical or electrical experience from workshop, oilfield, or industrial environments.
Ability to use hand tools, lifting gear, and basic measuring instruments safely.
Knowledge of basic equipment handling and inspection practices.
Ability to read simple service instructions, safety signage, and checklists.
