Upstream We have multiple clients in Australia seeking experienced Well Testing Personnel to support upcoming onshore and offshore operations across Australia.
Applications are invited for the following positions:
- Welltest Supervisor
- Welltest Data Acquisition (DAQ)
- Welltest Chief Operator
- Welltest Operator
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the role, responsibilities may include:
- Rig up, operate and rig down well testing equipment.
- Monitor and control well testing operations in accordance with approved procedures.
- Acquire, validate and report well test data.
- Operate and maintain surface well testing equipment including separators, choke manifolds, flowlines and associated equipment.
- Complete operational documentation and reporting.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Identify and report equipment faults or operational issues.
- Maintain compliance with HSE requirements, permit systems and client procedures.
- Work effectively with client representatives, drilling and completions personnel, and other service providers.
Applicants should have:
- Previous experience in the position they are applying for.
- Experience in onshore and/or offshore well testing operations.
- Strong understanding of well testing processes and equipment.
- Commitment to safe work practices and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work rotational rosters and remote locations.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Current Australian working rights or ability to obtain a 400-visa (temporary work).
- Current driver’s licence.
For offshore roles, current offshore certifications such as BOSIET/FOET, OGUKOEUK/Medical, and any client-specific requirements will be highly regarded.
