Our client in Bahrain is looking for a number of Wellsite Geologists for long term rotational work. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring geological operations at the drilling site, ensuring the collection of high-quality geological data, and advising the drilling team on geological conditions.
Responsibilities:
Monitor drilling operations and ensure proper geological data collection, interpretation, and reporting.
Provide real-time support to the drilling team by analyzing wellbore conditions, formation evaluation, and potential hazards.
Supervise and manage the geological logging and data acquisition process, including well cuttings, cores, and mud logs
Maintain and update wellsite geological reports, including daily geological summaries, lithological descriptions, and other relevant documentation.
Interpret geological data, identify key formations, and make recommendations on drilling parameters to optimize operations and minimize risk.
