Wind Turbine Technician – Electrician
Our client is a specialist in the field of maintenance and repair of onshore wind turbines. To further consolidate and strengthen our client’s field team in Sweden, we are looking for a qualified Wind Turbine Technician to be located at their service centre for the 2025 season.
Responsibilities of the Wind Turbine Technician – Electrician:
- Working independently on the implementation of fault analyses and repair of wind turbines (troubleshooting).
- Planned and preventative maintenance of wind turbines.
- Documentation of fault-finding and repair work in service reports and checklists.
Requirements:
- Professional training in the electrical engineering sector (Electrician, Power Electronics System Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer).
- Wind business experience in GE-units is a must.
- High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault-finding, and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults and defects.
- Experience in troubleshooting GE2.X turbines is a plus.
- Familiar with PLCs and with MS Office operating system.
- Prepared to travel and willing to work on weekends.
- Fluent in English language, and Swedish is a plus.
- Class B driving license.
- EU Work Permit, Swedish residency, or work permit for Sweden.
