Renewables Wind Turbine Technician – Mechanic

Our client is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to join their team in Europe.
Responsibilities of the Wind Turbine Technician:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on wind turbines and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in wind turbines.
- Install and commission new wind turbines and associated equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls to diagnose and repair wind turbines in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
- Technical degree or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical engineering beneficial.
- Familiar with wind turbine technology.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work at heights and in challenging outdoor environments.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluent in English.
- Nordex experience – servicing or installation desired.
