Wind Wind Turbine Technician – Mechanic

Our client is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician, with Vestas Level B + C + D, for work on onshore jobs around Europe.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and committed to providing exceptional service to the clients.
Responsibilities of the Wind Turbine Technician:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on wind turbines and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in wind turbines.
- Install and commission new wind turbines and associated equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls to diagnose and repair wind turbines in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Wind Energy Mechanic or a similar role.
- Technical degree, or equivalent, in a mechanical or electrical engineering beneficial.
- Familiar with wind turbine technology, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Willing to work at heights and in challenging outdoor environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluent in English.
- Vestas experience level B, C, or D.
