Upstream Wireline Consultants
Our client in Saudi Arabia is looking for Wireline Operators and Wireline Crew Chiefs for long-term rotational work.
Responsibilities of the Wireline Operator:
- Operate wireline units and tools to deploy and retrieve equipment in oil and gas wells.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on wireline equipment to ensure its reliability and functionality.
- Collect and record data from downhole tools, such as pressure, temperature, and wellbore characteristics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and operational issues.
- Ensure all wireline operations meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities of the Wireline Crew Chief:
- Lead and manage a team of Wireline Operators, ensuring they follow safety protocols and perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with clients and engineer to plan operations, including equipment selection.
- Prepare reports detailing job performance, equipment status, and any incidents or issues encountered during operations.
- Manage the budget for wireline operations, including cost control and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in wireline operations and well services within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Able to work independently and as part of a consulting team.
Additional Information:
- Rotation is typically 12 weeks on x 4 weeks off.
- Rate is in USD from $150+.
