Upstream Our client is looking for 2 Wireline Evaluation Services Engineer / Specialist for a project in Guyana / Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago.
Job Summary
Responsible for planning and executing wireline data acquisition operations to evaluate reservoir characteristics, well integrity, and production performance. The role requires experience with Openhole Reservoir Assessment (ORA) operations, ensuring high-quality reservoir data is acquired and interpreted to support subsurface and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute open-hole and cased-hole wireline logging operations.
- Conduct Openhole Reservoir Assessment (ORA) activities, including formation pressure testing and fluid sampling.
- Operate and troubleshoot wireline evaluation tools and surface acquisition systems.
- Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.
- Analyze logging and reservoir evaluation data and prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate with drilling, completion, and reservoir teams during well operations.
- Maintain compliance with HSE requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Geoscience, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in Wireline Evaluation Services operations.
- Hands-on experience with Openhole Reservoir Assessment (ORA), including formation testing and fluid sampling operations.
- Strong understanding of formation evaluation, reservoir characterization, and data acquisition systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in field environments and rotational schedules.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with advanced formation testing, pressure sampling, and reservoir fluid characterization.
- Exposure to both offshore and onshore wireline operations.
