We are seeking an experienced Wireline Engineer to support offshore and/or onshore operations in Suriname. This is an urgent requirement for a professional with strong technical expertise in wireline services and advanced formation evaluation technologies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality wireline operations while ensuring compliance with operational procedures and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute wireline operations in accordance with approved procedures and client requirements.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot a range of wireline logging and formation evaluation systems.
- Support Full Suite wireline services, including advanced formation evaluation activities.
- Perform operations involving ORA and 3D Vertical Seismic Profiling (3D VSP) technologies.
- Work with Optiq wireline acquisition systems where applicable.
- Conduct pre-job planning, equipment preparation, rig-up, testing, and post-job reporting.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operationally ready.
- Monitor data quality throughout operations and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Work collaboratively with field crews and client representatives to ensure successful job execution.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wireline Engineer in oil and gas operations.
- Hands-on experience with Full Suite, ORA, 3D VSP, and Optiq services.
- Strong understanding of wireline logging, formation evaluation, and reservoir characterization.
- Experience with offshore and/or land operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot wireline equipment and acquisition systems under field conditions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in remote environments and under operational pressure.
- Valid industry certifications and medicals (where required).
- Passport with the ability to travel internationally at short notice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Geoscience, Physics, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Previous experience supporting complex wireline and seismic acquisition operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to HSE excellence and operational quality.
