Our client in Saudi Arabia is seeking a number of Cased Hole Wireline Engineers for long-term rotational assignments. The ideal candidates will have prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East and a strong background in cased hole wireline operations.
The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of cased hole wireline logging and intervention operations at the wellsite, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery in line with client objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute cased hole wireline logging and perforating operations, including production logging, cement evaluation, saturation monitoring, and well integrity services
- Select appropriate cased hole logging tools, perforating systems, and conveyance methods based on well objectives, completion design, and downhole conditions
- Supervise and mentor wireline operators and junior engineers, ensuring correct rig-up, rig-down, tool handling, and pressure control procedures
- Monitor well conditions, surface and downhole parameters, and job execution in real time to ensure safe operations and optimal data acquisition
- Perform quality control (QC) on acquired data, validate job results, and ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards
- Liaise with clients, rig crews, and third-party service providers to coordinate operations and resolve operational challenges
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, well control practices, and local regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed job reports, logs, and post-job evaluations, including recommendations for future operations
- Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues, providing technical input to minimize non-productive time (NPT)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing lessons learned and best practices across operations
